Gatlinburg, TN has always been the GO-TO place for vacations – Whether it be a romantic mountain weekend getaway, a family trip to explore all that the town has to offer when its all lit up for the holidays, or a quick trip with the kids to let them break away from the everyday stresses of the school year. Everyone has their reasons for “getting away,” just like everyone has their vacation rentals “must haves” – What are you favorite things about choosing a place to stay when you plan a vacation? Is it searching for the most cozy, modern or updated interior; the beautiful scenery from the deck; or maybe even the amenities like a hot tub, game room and multiple living spaces? What if I told you… this place has ALL the above!
The mountains of Tennessee will always special place in my heart – it’s where we spent our honeymoon and it’s where I one day dream of hosting both of our families together for a holiday gathering… But I know that SO many people find Gatlinburg to be their favorite place to vacation and frankly, I don’t blame them! One of my dear friends has an incredible vacation rental in the mountains of Tennessee and I felt so compelled to share it with all of you, as I know within those walls there are so many memories waiting to be made!
The view
First things first, as you can see from above, the views are absolutely breathtaking. Can you imagine watching the sunrise or sunset from this cozy egg chair with your drink of choice in hand? Whether taking in the morning or winding down an exciting day – This view is quite literally, to die for. My husband and I usually go away for Thanksgiving just the two of us, and while this cabin would probably be too large for just us to use, I might just consider it with a view like this! What a perfect way to enjoy an evening than a relaxing soak in the hot tub with a cool mountain breeze to keep you comfortable.
And I certainly cannot forget this view from the upstairs master tub… I mean are you kidding me? I’d honestly never leave!
cozy, comfortable and inviting
The open floor plan along with the abundance of natural light allow for the most inviting space you can imagine. A cozy living space with plenty of couch seats, the open dining area and the beautiful kitchen area. One thing I know is always frustrating is making a meal in a vacation rental, and the kitchen is missing the necessities! Not to fret here, this kitchen is FULLY STOCKED. Dining table that seats up to 12 guests, so everyone gets a seat at this table đ Did I mention the shuffle board table behind the sitting area? I’d never be able to pull my husband away from it… which leads me to the lower level.
Y’all… the game room is SO COOL. Air hockey, pop-a-shot, a vintage style arcade game? COME. ON. I’m pretty sure this is a good way to not only occupy the kids but… probably the men too! Ladies, can I get an “amen” for alone time on vacation?! Doesn’t get much better than a glass of wine on that plush living room couch while you watch a show that naturally, no one else would be interested in – And you don’t have to feel ANY GUILT.

Joint family vacations with all the kiddos, big families or just a large group of bridesmaids wanting a cozy place to stay – The WTH Cabin can accommodate up to 12 guests! Here are the different bedrooms with what accommodations they each have for sleeping…
- 1 master with king size bed on the upper floor, sleeps 2.
- 1 master with king size bed on the main floor (great for grandparents who came along or anyone needing less stairs!), sleeps 2.
- 1 secondary bedroom in the main floor with twin size bunk beds, plus trundle (twin size), sleeps 3.
- 1 bedroom in the lower floor with twin size bunk beds plus trundle (twin size), sleeps 3.
- 1 bedroom in the lower floor with full size bunk beds, sleeps 2.
Like any home, there are specific house rules of course – so be sure to be respectful of your hosts, as they want to provide the best possible experience for ALL of their guests!
